What we collect
Nothing you enter into the calculator. Guest counts, serving style, sides, and the leftovers toggle are processed by JavaScript running on your own device. Those values are never transmitted to us, stored on a server, or saved to your browser.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used — which pages people visit, roughly where visitors come from, and what devices they use. To do this, Google sets first-party cookies (such as_ga) and collects usage data including pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, and browser and device information. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses.
This data is aggregated — we see that "2,000 people looked at the size chart," not who any of them were. How Google processes this data is described in theGoogle Privacy Policy. You can opt out entirely with theGoogle Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by using any content blocker — the site works identically without analytics loaded.
Beyond Google Analytics and Google AdSense (below), brisketperperson.com runs no other third-party scripts, embeds, or tracking pixels.
What our host sees
Like any website, the server delivering these pages processes standard request data — IP address, browser user agent, requested URL, and timestamp — as a necessary part of transmitting the page to you. This is handled by our hosting provider under their own privacy terms. We do not combine it with anything else or use it to build a profile of you.
Advertising
This site participates in Google AdSense, and Google's advertising script loads on every page. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. Where the law requires it, consent controls are shown before any personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising atGoogle Ads Settingsandaboutads.info.
Children
This site is a cooking tool intended for a general adult audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, children included, for the straightforward reason that we do not collect personal information at all.
Your rights
Privacy laws including the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, and delete personal data held about you. We hold no personal data ourselves; the aggregated analytics described above is held by Google and is not identifiable to us. If you believe we hold something about you, write to us and we will investigate and respond.
